Alexandros meets the legendary Kenny Lovelace, Jerry Lee Lewis's band leader!

Kenny Lovelace has been Jerry Lee Lewis's band leader for more than 42 years. I have attended six of his concerts, four of them with Anne. In November 2008, Alexandros was still in the belly of Anne but he had the honour to listen twice to Kenny's riffs and to Jerry Lee's unique banging and virtuoso way of playing the piano: first at Zénith (Paris) and then at Forest National (Brussels).

Well, yesterday Alexandros had the pleasure and the privilege to have his lunch with Kenny Lovelace in a restaurant in Rotterdam. Mr Lovelace is one of the most lovable persons we've ever met and played a lot with our baby!

Kenny Lovelace a été le leader du groupe qui suit Jerry Lee Lewis depuis plus de 42 ans. J'ai assisté à six de ses concerts, dont quatre avec Anne. En novembre 2008, Alexandros était encore dans le ventre de Anne, mais il a eu l'honneur d'écouter à deux reprises les riffs de Kenny et l'unique et virtuose façon qu'a Jerry Lee de jouer au piano (ou devrais-je dire "cogner le piano"?): d'abord au Zénith (Paris) et ensuite à Forêt National (Bruxelles).

Eh bien hier, Alexandros a eu le plaisir et le privilège d'avoir son repas avec Kenny Lovelace dans un restaurant à Rotterdam. Mr Lovelace est une des personnes les plus adorables que nous ayons connu et a joué beaucoup avec notre bébé!

Kenny Lovelace

Today, after our lunch, Akis and I went for drinks at a wonderful little café downtown Brussels, called La Fleur en Papier Doré. There, we had the great privilege of meeting Kenny Lovelace, guitarist of the Killer Band, Jerry Lee Lewis' band. Mr Lovelace is such a warm and friendly man! He readily agreed to have his picture taken with us, and signed me an autograph on a beer mat. He made us feel comfortable and welcome at his table, too, and sounded completely sincere in his ways.

Aujourd'hui, après notre lunch, Akis et moi sommes allés boire un verre dans un merveilleux petit café au centreville, La Fleur en Papier Doré. Là, nous avons eu l'immense privilège de rencontrer Kenny Lovelace, guitariste du Killer Band, le groupe accompagnant Jerry Lee Lewis. Mr Lovelace est un homme très amical et très chaleureux. Il a tout de suite accepté que nous prenions une photo avec lui, et m'a signé un autographe sur un carton à bière. Il nous a mis très à l'aise et nous a accueilli à sa table, paraissant très sincère dans ses manières.
